Raven’s Feather AI Policy

The term AI (Artificial Intelligence) is a broad marketing term that covers a variety of technologies. We do not have a particular perspective on the use of all of these technologies. However, Generative AI (GenAI) will not be used in any Raven’s Feather production. We define GenAI to mean the creation of text, images, music, video by pattern-based computational means built on work taken from human creators without their permission.

What areas of production does this cover?

No computer-generated scripts will be performed, no performance sound, image, or video that is computer-generated will be used in production, nor will any marketing materials include GenAI images.

Do you see any valid uses for AI?

There are AI-assisted tools that we will allow, such as the technology that allows you to remove unwanted elements from a photograph, or background noise from an audio file. However, we remain committed to art as a human endeavor.

Do you allow non-artistic uses?

While we currently do not use any, we do not have a strong objection to administrative and process uses of AI, such as streamlining office tasks.
